If eyes are the window to the soul how do you imbue a portrait with no eyes with that presence?  The irony being that many of those known for clairvoyance were blind prophets. Those without traditional sight being granted a sight and senses greater than our own. An eerie human figure stands before you from times gone by but an apt metaphor for modern living.
